VOOM VOOM
DOB 9-1-2011

Hi, my name is Voom Voom

This little girl was in the Shelter with a big tumor on her right lower eye lid. She could not see over the big tumor, it was erupting every day, and causing her great pain and discomfort. The shelter was just keeping her medicated until her time was up then they were going to euthanize her. Now normally Starlight Stepping Stones would miss out on such a beauty, as the shelters do not show sick cats for adoption, but we were asked by the staff at the shelter to try and remove the tumor and give her a chance at a good life. We took enough donations to pay for her surgery (thank you everyone) and on 8-10-13 she was transferred to Starlight Clinic and the work began. We removed her tumor and let her recover. Her right eye may never look perfect to some of you, but to us (and some of you) she is purrrrfect!!!

She is ready for adoption now; she is fixed, microchiped, dewormed, defleaed, vaccinated, and tested for FIV/FeLV. We are asking for a donation of $125.00, but you can always donate more or less depending on your financial needs, but remember, if you cannot afford a pet, you should not adopt one, you should foster instead. She is safe in our foster care and we are looking for the right person to adopt her. She has a very kind hart and loves to cuddle in bed with you. She also has no problem with stinky dogs as long as she has a high place she can get to or hang out on, so she can watch everything from a far.

Just a little catnip gossip on how she got her name. The nick name of the Veterinarian that took such good care of her at the shelter is "Voom Voom"…..and in honor of the Veterinarian's excellent work and dedication at both the shelter and Starlight Clinic, we named her after the Doc!

Lots of Love, Kitty Kisses and Head Bumps...
